Rapper LIL WAYNE has reached a court colony in a legal dispute over an outstanding jewelry bill.
The star, real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was sued by the possessor of Jack Sutton Fine Jewelry last year (07) amid claims he failed to bear a $146,000 (GBP73,000) invoice.
Proprietor Jack Sutton alleged the Lollipop hitmaker placed orders over the phone for a $138,000 (GBP69,000) diamond closed chain and a $32,000 (GBP16,000) gold and baseball field necklace.
But Sutton supposed that later on handing over the number one cheque for $24,000 (GBP12,000) in October (07), and a second in January (08), Lil Wayne's payments stopped up coming in - despite him agreeing to do monthly installments for the jewellery.
However, the deuce parties get now reached a deal in the case - more than eight months after the complaint was filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court in Florida.
The rapper's attorney, Ron Sweeney, says, "We reached a settlement. Everybody's happy."
The terms of the negotiations have in time to be released to the media.
